Health Professions Students
Southern Vermont Area Health Education Center seeks to support students who are on a health professions career track. SVAHEC provides internship opportunities to students in an undergraduate program and community projects and clinical rotation support to nurse practitioner, social work students and students from the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. Planning to Practice in Vermont?
The Vermont Educational Loan Repayment for Healthcare Professionals, established by the Vermont General Assembly, is to help insure a stable supply of primary care providers to meet the health care needs of Vermonters. This program is administered by AHEC. Find out more.

Students in graduate-level health professions programs of study are invited to apply for MedQuest Mentor positions for the summer MedQuest programs. SVAHEC has 6-8 positions open each summer. Applications are due in March. Visit the MedQuest page for more information.
